Art from the Archives: watercolour landscape
Join us for the new series of Art from the Archives workshops! Designed to stimulate your creativity, this series invites you to discover the hidden works of art in the Library and Archives Canada collections. Each workshop begins with a short presentation of works and archives, followed by a creative activity facilitated by an artist from the National Capital region. All equipment is provided. Beginners are welcome!
This month
In April, admire Canada’s landscapes through the eyes of artists and explorers. During this workshop, create a watercolour landscape alongside artist Diane Groulx.
About the artist
Diane Groulx is a painter from the Aylmer sector of Gatineau, Quebec. She has been painting and teaching art in the National Capital Region for over 20 years. She is an active member of many organizations, including Arteast Ottawa and Arts visuels de Gatineau (formerly Aylmer Arts Council).

The workshop will be presented in English or French, depending on the date, but bilingual staff will be on hand to help with the painting. Seating is limited, so please register!
