Abstract
Report documenting variations in biological characteristics among sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka) collected from six spawning areas in the Stikine watershed, northwestern British Columbia. Observed variations in scale patterns, freshwater age, parasite prevalence and allele frequencies was sufficient to differentiate major stock-groupings in the mixed-stock catches of the commercial fishery in the lower Stikine River.
