About the records
LAC selects some GC publications from the Weekly Acquisitions Lists to create enhanced bibliographic records. LAC does not catalogue serial issues, cartographic materials or video formats at this time. Items catalogued are in accordance with Resource Description and Access (RDA).
Downloading the batch files
From the LAC website
LAC's MARC 21 files are in batch form, so there will be several records within each file.
OCLC cataloguing and metadata
LAC MARC 21 records are available individually and in batch form through the OCLC Cataloguing and Metadata Subscription service.
