Ottawa International Writers Festival 2024 spring edition

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is delighted to host the 2024 spring edition of the Ottawa International Writers Festival (OIWF) from May 2 to May 5.

Since 1997, the OIWF has been Canada’s festival of ideas, celebrating imagination and community as our most valuable renewable resources. Twice a year, they convene an international celebration of literature and ideas to bring our community together.

Event description

This spring, immerse yourself in the theme "Embrace the Undiscovered" at the OIWF. Seize the unique opportunity to engage with renowned authors, poets and thinkers from around the world. The festival showcases an exciting array of activities including readings, panel discussions, book signings and much more. This promises to be an enthralling and enlightening experience for all.
