One eRead Canada 2024 – An evening with author Dimitri Nasrallah
Library and Archives Canada (LAC), in collaboration with Ottawa Public Library (OPL), Canadian Urban Libraries Council (CULC) and CBC, invites you to an evening with Dimitri Nasrallah, author of Hotline, this year’s One eRead.
Universal human themes—belonging, identity, isolation and connection—make Hotline a perfect story to read and discuss with thousands of fellow Canadians as part of this year’s One eRead Canada program.
With this initiative, CULC brings you Canada’s largest bilingual book club, while highlighting the need for equitable access to digital books in Canadian libraries. Throughout April, public libraries across the country participate in One eRead Canada, during which thousands of readers are able to borrow digital copies of Dimitri Nasrallah’s novel Hotline no waitlists.
On April 25, don’t miss the chance to hear Dimitri Nasrallah discuss his book with the CBC’s Alan Neal. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question & answer session at the end of the discussion.
