Details:

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is organizing its third LAC Forum with University Partners. This year’s theme will be memory institutions as equitable, diverse and inclusive places.

This virtual event will bring together LAC’s university partners and a wide range of participants (students, college and university professors and researchers, librarians and archivists, public servants, information management professionals, etc.). The event will also be open to the public.

By approaching this topic from varied perspectives, the Forum will provide an opportunity to discuss the question of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI). It will also foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise about innovative projects, initiatives and practices. Current EDI issues and challenges facing libraries, archives and museums will also be covered.
