Library and Archives Canada's Accessibility Plan: 2024 progress report

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) has published a new progress report highlighting its advancement in accessibility matters in 2024.

In accordance with the Accessible Canada Act, LAC launched its first Accessibility Plan in December 2022 to improve the services provided to users and the workplace for its staff.

Guided by the principle "Nothing without us", LAC continues to integrate accessibility into all its programs, policies, services and buildings. In addition, LAC will soon start work on the second Accessibility Plan. We encourage you to contribute to the consultation process, beginning in May 2025.
