LAC is pleased to award two Price McIntosh bursaries of $5,000 each for the 2022–2023 academic year.
Created in 2021, the bursary encourages the next generation of archival and library professionals and promotes the inclusion into our shared history of diverse narratives and perspectives that represent the Canadian population. It is consistent with the Government of Canada's commitment to building an inclusive country, reflective of the Canadian population.
The 2022–23 recipients are:
- Fatma Doumbia, pursuing graduate studies in information sciences at Université de Montréal in Quebec
- Harmeen Kaur Singh, pursuing graduate studies in library and information science at Western University in Ontario
